AMBER: THE GOLD OF BALTIC

Amber, known as the Baltic gold and beloved by the Romanov tzars, is a rare material, light and warm to the touch. At the end of the 18th century the Romanov tzars discovered its therapeutic proprieties. In a special amber room they took massages for their relaxation and well being. The amber of Baltic is also called "succinite", an element used in medicine for bacterial and therapeutic remedies.

The "succinic acid" in fact reinforces the immune system defences, balances the energetic process of acids and prevents the cellular ageing processes: it´s a very good anti-aging therapy and is also used for anti-stress treatments, in the care of the nervous and digestive systems acting positively on the endocrine system , heart and spleen.

IMPERIAL MASSAGE
Introduced by Carla Aghito - naturopath - it is carried out on a special harmonic – vibrational bed covered with little amber nuggets and using the principles of music- therapy from the sound of four Tibetan bells and caressing movements using large amber nuggets that release the "succinic acid" during the friction. With the help of linen strips the blood steam is stimulated and the body revitalizes itself. The session is accompanied by the soft sound of Hang, a specific instrument used in music therapy.
